Billing and Medical Records

Billing and Medical Records

Coping with medical bills is especially difficult at a time when you or a loved one is dealing with a medical problem or a serious illness. Our customer service team is available to assist you with questions about your insurance coverage or medical bills while you are here or after you have gone home.

As a courtesy to our patients, claims will be submitted to all medical insurance plans. You will be billed for any remaining balances after the insurance company has processed the claim.

Secure Online Bill Payment

New payment process

On June 3, 2018, Penn State Health installed a new electronic medical record system, which will provide a new design to your patient billing statement.

PLEASE NOTE: If you received services at a Penn State Health facility prior to June 3, 2018, you may receive a separate patient statement with a different layout than what you are used to seeing. These are not duplicate statements. Patients are responsible for the amount due portion of the statement for patient care services rendered.

If you have any questions, please contact our Patient Financial Services at 717-531-5069 or 800-254-2619. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
