How to best manage your child's medication

Please bring all of your child’s medications or a list of their medications to every appointment. This is important to assure that the provider has the most up-to-date information.

Refills are best obtained at your child’s appointment. Please remind your provider to give you refills for all of your child’s medications at your child’s office visit.

If your child needs a medication refill between appointments, please contact your pharmacy. They will send us all the necessary information to safely and efficiently reorder your child’s medication.

Refills may take up to three business days. If a prior authorization is required, it may take several days to complete.

If you receive a denial from your pharmacy, please contact our office, as we may need additional information to complete the refill request.

Please remember to keep regularly scheduled appointments. If your child has not been seen by us in more than a year, you may need to obtain refills from your primary care provider.
