Diabetes and hormone disorder care
Our Pediatric Endocrinology team includes board-certified doctors, diabetes nurse educators, specialized endocrine nurses and dietitians. We work together to care for children of all ages — infants through teens.
We treat children who have diabetes or problems with:
- Thyroid gland (makes and stores hormones that affect nearly every organ in the body)
- Growth and development
- Puberty (when boys and girls start to mature into men and women)
- Sex development
- Adrenal gland (makes hormones that control blood pressure, blood sugar and stress)
- Pituitary gland (makes sex, growth and thyroid hormones)
We work with children and their families at every step: testing, treatment and beyond. We help children understand and manage their diabetes or hormone conditions so they can live full lives.
What happens when you’re referred
New patients must be referred by their doctors. After the referring doctor arranges the appointment, we’ll mail you a welcome packet with directions to the Pediatric Endocrinology office, and forms to complete and bring to your appointment.
Schedule your child’s return appointments when you checkout after your first appointment.
If you need to reschedule an appointment, please call 717-531-6807, and select option 2.
