Angela Kelle, MD, completed her residency training in pediatric and adolescent medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. She then completed fellowship training in pediatric cardiology and subspecialty training in advanced pediatric and congenital cardiac imaging, both at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Kelle is a faculty member at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and currently holds an appointment as assistant professor of pediatrics. She is actively involved with teaching and is the program director of the pediatric cardiology fellowship program. Dr. Kelle is the course director of the weekly Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Imaging Conference.

Dr. Kelle’s clinical practice includes fetal echocardiography and cardiology, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac MRI and general pediatric cardiology. She has multiple research interests, including fetal cardiology; long-term outcomes in congenital heart disease, including adult congenital heart disease; hypoplastic left heart syndrome; the genetics of congenital heart disease and cardiomyopathies, including family screening; and cardiac MRI. In addition to multiple research publications, Dr. Kelle has co-authored two book chapters. Dr. Kelle is currently board certified in general pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics) and pediatric cardiology (American Board of Pediatrics), and adult congenital heart disease (American Board of Internal Medicine). She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology and is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Heart Association.
