Adrian Zurca, MD, received his undergraduate degree in biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. He completed medical school at New York University School of Medicine and then went on to his residency in pediatrics at Yale New Haven Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., after which he joined the faculty at Penn State Children's Hospital. Dr. Zurca also holds a master's in human development and education. He is interested in medical simulation, curriculum development and medical education, and his research currently focuses on resident education, clinical decision-making and assessment of procedural competency. Dr. Zurca is also program director for the pediatric critical care fellowship.
