Primary care services for children
Penn State Children’s Hospital Academic General Pediatrics is a national leader in quality, evidence-based care for children of all ages - from birth through age 21. Our approach to patient care has a "comprehensivist" philosophy - meaning we care for the whole individual as opposed to a single organ system or age group. As academic pediatricians, we provide our care alongside the next generation of healthcare providers (students and resident physicians).
Our doctors deliver services to about 50,000 patients each year, at three outpatient facilities located in central Pennsylvania:
- Penn State Pediatrics at Hershey
- Penn State Medical Group at Elizabethtown
- Penn State Medical Group at Camp Hill
- Penn State Children's Heart Group at Harrisburg
Our doctors also contribute to the healthcare of patients at Harrisburg's Community Checkup Center
Some of our specialties include:
- Primary care
- Complex care
- Newborn nursery
- Pediatric dermatology
- Phenylketonuria (PKU) Clinic
- Tic and movement disorders (including Tourette syndrome)
