Expert surgery for children

Sometimes children are born with a disease (congenital) or develop a health problem (acquired) that may need to be treated with surgery. Our Pediatric Surgery team is here to help. We use the latest techniques to treat children of all ages.

Team approach

Your child will have a caring team of experts throughout surgery and recovery. Our surgeons are board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Surgery. They work with other team members who are also specially trained to care for infants, children and teens before, during, and after surgery, including:

  • Anesthesiologists (doctors who keep patients safe and pain-free during surgery)
  • Nurses and nurse practitioners (advanced nurses who can write prescriptions)
  • Dieticians
