Food allergy support groups

Allergic reactions can be life threatening. Worrying about accidentally eating or being exposed to the food you’re allergic to is stressful - for kids and their parents.

We offer a support group at for parents and caregivers of children with food allergies. The group meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in Conference Rooms P1100 in the Children's Hospital. Everyone is welcome.

We talk about many topics, including:

  • Working with schools
  • Going on vacation
  • Planning for the holidays
  • Dealing with the psychological issues that may come with food allergies

  • Please park in the Centerview parking garage and enter the Penn State Children’s Hospital.
  • Follow signs towards the Treehouse Café.
  • Towards the back of the Treehouse Café, with the windows on your left, there will be an exit door. The conference room is located just behind the café area.
